Access Issue: Peregrine Falcons in Maine
Details
Maine Peregrine Falcons breeding season extends from mid-March through July or August. Hiking or climbing near nesting peregrines can cause abandonment and death of eggs/young. If adults are away from the nest, eggs or young can become overheated, chilled, or chicks can miss feedings. Be on the lookout for agitated falcons that may vocalize, take avoidance flights, or dive-bomb those that are too close. If you encounter an aggressive peregrine falcon please immediately leave the area, and report incidents to Erynn Call, State Raptor Specialist, MDIFW, erynn.call@maine.gov.

Description
Follows the shallow groove, straight up the center crack system on the diamond shaped face. Two bolts, good crack pro, and double bolt anchor at the top. Awesome exposure and view of the Carrabbasett Valley, on the climb and from the top.
Location
This climb is located in the left-most high main wall, or 'Wrong Ravinen' the southernmost of the three ravines that make up the Main Wall area of the cirque. A few minutes of scrambling around from Crimson Thread on the middle wall takes you to the flat belay boulder. The climb follows the crack system in a minor dihedral.
