Description Suggest change

The striking East Face of Huayna Potosí, easily visible from the standard route.  It starts at 40-45 degrees and kicks up to about 55 degrees.  There may be a cornice on top.  There is objective hazard from seracs on the left margin of the route and from the cornice above, so it is advisable to complete the route before temperatures rise.

Location Suggest change

Follow the standard route up onto the glacier.  From Campamiento Argentino at 17,880ft, cut left across the glacier towards the face.  You'll likely have to start the route at the far left of the face, given the bergschrund.
