Description Suggest change

This is the first pitch of a longer route named “D’Arriba Abajo”. If you have a full rack and want a longer rack, do the whole thing. But if you want something short and sport-y, this will fit the bill.

A psychological test. 9 bolts spread over a 65m. You do the math. Extend runners, especially the last 2 bolts.  About 10m runout to the anchor... It’s been climbed with a 60m rope but it’s very close. **Coming up short could be dangerous.**
There is a walk off from the top. So it can be done with one 70m rope. Rapping requires 2 ropes.

Location Suggest change

15 minutes from the bivy boulder. Start out towards the Al Centro gully then go off left to the base of the wall. There is only one obvious slab but it’s partly obscured by the forest until close. Look for the bolt line that starts at the base, left of center, trending right.

Protection Suggest change

9 long draws. No other gear.
