Description Suggest change

This WI2 variation follows rolling terrain up a shallow groove directly to the anchor. For a harder variation, start on a taller steeper bulge about 15' to the right, and ascend from there, making a long traverse left into the exit gully near the top.

Location Suggest change

It leads to a large ponderosa pine at the top and adjacent to Chocolate Salty Balls.

See also the Ouray ice park map.

Protection Suggest change

You can get a toprope anchor off of a rock with bolts. Screws are fine, except it can be thin ice at the top.
