Description Suggest change

Sit start, right hand in bucket, left in good crimp about 16" over. Move straight up, take your pick of crimps en route to the great left facing jug. Move right to the u shaped flake for the traditional V3 finish. Or continue up - gaining an alternate V4 top on the quartzite band across the right facing ramp above.

Location Suggest change

On masterlock boulder. When approaching masterlock boulder on trail, (r2-v2 boulder should be on your right, masterlock - not yet reached- on your left) continue along the first face passing along the large band of quartz rising up and right that starts at the arete. Route starts below, between huge left facing jug & end of quartz band, in front of the large rock in the path.

Protection Suggest change

Lots of pads - you're right over a huge rock in the path, no flat ground. If you're dropping from the jug flake its not bad, but the V4 top is a bit tricky - be sure to pad the slope.
