The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Climb up a low angle crack in a right facing open book capped by a block. Tunnel under the block and climb the block on its back side to the top and a bolted anchor.
Note: as of 12/2018 the anchor consisted of two rusted studs, no hangers. Do not climb up the final block unless you are willing to downclimb it.
