Description Suggest change

An amazing and atmospheric way to start the Cyfrwy Arete.

1) Start at the top of the fin of rock at the base of the face. Follow the left facing corner on blocky holds before moving right to a belay.

2) Move onto the face on large holds/ledges before moving up and left up a grassy corner.

3) On your right is a left facing corner. Continue up this and belay at the top.

4) Follow the arete overlooking a gully to the top where there is a large ledge. Follow this ledge down to the start of Cyfwy Arete.

Location Suggest change

From Llyn y Gadair, make your way across scree heading towards the obvious fin of rock at the base of a steep face. Climb behind the fin of rock to the base of the route.
