Description Suggest change

Two-hand sit-start on a jug, followed by a few easy moves that get you straight to the business of the climb. Wide hands to fist jams are the name of the game. Each move feels thuggish, but the jams are secure. The top-out finishes with a fun move to a jug, followed by a couple of easy moves to finish it up.

This is a spectacular test-piece for hardcore crack climbers and may be the best boulder problem in Riverside (if crack is your thing).  It would be a mistake for all aspiring crack-climbers to not give it a try.

Since it is a cave problem, it is cool and shady all day, and is in the middle of a nice outcrop of relatively high-quality rock, with potential for development.

Happy Crack Bouldering!

From the Box Springs Mountain Reserve parking lot at the end of Box Springs Mountain Road in Moreno Valley/Riverside, take the Edison Trail for about 15 minutes until you reach a stack of cairns to your right. This marks the start of the climber trail and into the cave. You'll see an outcropping of nice quality rock along the right-hand side of the trail.
