Description
The extra large, south facing boulder in the Grands avalanche track, near the toe of the Tepee Glacier has a vertical face for climbing.
Originally a 50 m rappel for clients in bad weather or as a way to descend from camp when shut down above, this face eventually got top roped and led.
Now there are 2 additional pitches on this south face right of the original route. 5.11c and 5.12a both have thin slabby technical crimping and can be climbed with mostly QD’s
