Access Issue: Help Keep This Area Open
Details
Climbing and bouldering is currently allowed in the Tri-Valley wildlife area. However, it is suspected that there will be a proposed ban to climbing in the future. Please minimize your impact and practice LNT ethics. Make sure to follow the Ohio Climbers Coalition for future updates on access and what you can do to help. Also, be very careful during hunting seasons and be sure to wear hunting orange during these times.
Description
Like slopers? Come get some. There are three known methods to climb this boulder.
The OG beta- Stand start using a left hand side pull sloper, right hand pinching bowling ball hole like pockets, feet on small chips. Throw to the victory jug out left to top out.
The Low stand- start with left hand on a sidepulling sloper, just above a small knob. Right hand far right on the arete. Bump right hand high on a very steep sloper with a tiny dish, full compression, bump left hand up to an open hand crimp and one more time to the victory jug.
