Description

From the corner, make your way up to the roomy ledge, now get your affairs in order and quickly move up onto the needle protecting high and having a tight belay, a fall on the ledge may cause some damage.
Commit to the roof and a small vertical flake jammed in the crack and traverse up and right bear-hugging a large block. keep moving up the slab until you reach the gap with the massive flake blocking the way, you can traverse the crevasse underneath the block or climb up and over it to the glue-in anchor.

Location

From inside the open chamber on the right of l'Aiguille, find the corner which has an opening underneath with some nasty flakes.

Protection

Single rack to 3", 4" possible before the roof.

[Hide Comment] I usually set up a 0.4 anchor on the roomy ledge for the belayer.

Really great route! Mar 3, 2020
