Access Issue: RAIN & WET ROCK
Details
Corpse Wall sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB during or after rain. A good rule of thumb is that if the ground near your climb is at all damp, then do not climb.
Description
Climb up under the overhang and grasp the undercling. Locate secure holds above the roof from which you can clip the first bolt. Pull the roof and continue climbing up features to a ledge. Climb up to a crack that angles up to the left and provides nice edges or pods. Clip the last bolt and pull edges to the anchor. Once you solve the mystery of how to haul yourself over the overhang you'll appreciate the route's name. A bit puzzling.
Location
Far right end of the Corpse Wall.
Protection
4 bolts & 2-ring anchor.
