Description
On the east side, follow weaknesses and cracks in shale bands leading to a very heady dirt mantle move to a ledge. From the ledge, follow the dihedral to the summit, pulling lightly on blocks at the top.
Protection
The quality of the shale can vary from crumbly paper to solid enough for gear within inches. Cams and nuts from fingers to fists. Piton was placed on FA, but not crucial. Rap from bolts on north end of summit. Bring long slings for rappel and bail off the west side to avoid your rope getting stuck.
