Access Issue: Do Not Climb On or Around Rock Shelters and Pictographs
Details
17th century rock shelters and pictographs exist in this area. Climbers must be mindful of these cultural resources and avoid climbing on or around them. In June 2024 it was discovered that two new routes had been bolted in or near these resources next to the Roof Wall. The routes will be removed per the forest service.
Description
Getting up the slab at the bottom requires using tiny edges followed by a traverse to the right using underclings in the large horizontal gap. Next comes a tricky move to gain the upper face. The run-out to the anchors of Hammered, to the left is no problem, but don't fall.
