[Hide Comment] It was well worth the walk out there just to see this one. There is great movement; it's pretty much perfect. Great setting on a bend in the river with a swimming hole. Nov 25, 2017

[Hide Comment] Be prepared to climb at the grade. This is a route to be taken seriously, and it makes the send all the sweeter. Apr 21, 2018

[Hide Comment] IMHO, this is the best line the Townsend/Brookline area has to offer. Trillium is obviously a close second, but Alexander the Great and Conjecture/Speculation should also be on your list. Definitely worth the visit. You could easily get to all these problems in one day. Great if you're climbing in the V5/6 range.

I love boasting about the local areas just because they're local and l've got that soft spot for them. If you don't have time to drive to Pway, consider stopping at Black Rock/Stateline or Palmer Bartell, or all three. Sep 23, 2020
[Hide Comment] There is more graffiti on this boulder, and people have been making fires under it, which might have contributed to a hold breaking off (hard to tell from the other photos). The river makes for a nice setting, but the mosquitoes are fierce. Jul 29, 2023
