Description
This is one of the better 5.10 corners at South Nuttall. Squeeze chimney to tight hands and off fingers, over several little roofs. Exit left out of the alcove via the exposed horizontal crack to a nice stance and the anchor. Not to worry, the large namesake "Guillotine" feature at two-thirds height, is solid and hosts some the routes more memorable climbing--This feature, when viewed from below, vaguely resembles the blade and mouton from the French execution machine constructed in the late 1700's; but, imho this feature more closely resembles the wooden support and axe blade of the Halifax Gibbet, developed around 1280 in West Yorkshire, England.
