Description
Down the hill from the main parking area for the Col de la Colombiere is another parking area, the trail to the base starts there. Follow the trail for about ten minutes till you see a blue metal plate that says "Les Gaugistes". Follow the bolts up mixed rock and grass for the first pitch.
P1: 5.3 mainly scrambling up a grassy slope with some actual climbing thrown in here and there.
P2: 5.8 climb up to a wide corner, make interesting moves through this then follow slab to the anchors.
P3: 5.5 long pitch across featured limestone slab.
P4: 5.6 more slab
P5: 5.9 move up and left towards the arete and make inobvious moves to get on to it. follow it to a belay at the base of a slab beneath an overhang.
P6: 5.10a follow the bolts up the slab and to the right (easier if you undercling the overhang) to a roof, exit there and follow easier ground to the top.
Descent: rap the route.
