Description Suggest change

A fun climb which owes its E grade mostly to a couple of easy but massive runouts.

p1. Start at the blunt rib at the top of the Exhibition Slab. Climb up and slightly right through a couple of small overlaps (pegs). Above the overlaps soar up the friendly but thought-provoking slab on good holds. Belay from 3 pegs and a nut at the right end of a steeper red wall.

p2. From the belay, make a couple of heady steps to the right and pull up over a bulge. Make a few more decisive moves to rock over the lip and gain the Easy Slab. Dash to the top on even more runout, but much easier ground.

Location Suggest change

Top of the Exhibition Slab, just right of the corner on the Piton Route.

Protection Suggest change

A medium nut, two cams (small and medium) and a couple of pitons. Some of the pitons are reassuringly accompanied by multiple others that have been sheared-off!
