Strohn Lake separates the glacier from the highway and the only way over is a 1 km paddle across the lake or a stream crossing and heinous bushwhack around the shore.
Description
The Bear Glacier presented us with several large moulins and top-rope possibilities in Fall 2016. It is a remote location and you should only go with people who know what they are doing.
Where we set up ice was real bad, had to dig almost 20cm down to get ice we were comfortable anchoring into.
