Description
This chimney behind the penthouse leads to a notch from where you can hit the summit of the penthouse or the rooftop. Classic chimney with a crux at a bulge to the notch. An anchor can be made here then either step out across the wall and up onto a short slab, gear then run it out to the summit of the rooftop.....or step across and up onto the summit of the penthouse where you will find a two bolt belay.
Location
Scramble up and to the right of the penthouse , start chimney next to a large tree. If you opted to climb the rooftop, classic small tower, you will have to down climb back to the notch, thence over to the bolt anchor on the penthouse, or, you can scramble off the back of the rooftop. A single rope will make it to the ground if you want to rap the penthouse.
