[Hide Comment] These have all been climbed before.

EDIT: It isn't even the "First Recorded Ascent" (whatever that is) -- a guidebook was published in the 1990s. If you don't know the FA info, just leave it blank. Oct 21, 2015

[Hide Comment] Thanks for the correction. The boulder had obviously seen some traffic, so forgive me for putting up the photo/name without checking with the community first. FA info has been corrected.

I tried to get my hands on the old guidebook but couldn't find any info. If you have info on the actual names of this boulder and the routes, let me know and I'll update. Oct 22, 2015

[Hide Comment] Howdy Alex and Dustin. As an admin for the RRG area here on MP, I changed Alex's initial FA information to "First Recorded Ascent (FRA)" until it could get sorted out. Typically this approach works (as it has here) as more communication between users occurs. Thank you two for getting it sorted out. Oct 22, 2015

[Hide Comment] Thanks Jason! Again, sorry for the confusion and certainly didn't mean to step on any toes. Oct 22, 2015

[Hide Comment] Almost everything V5 and under at Emerald has been climbed. And even when my climbing partner and I were cleaning and climbing here and thought we were the only ones we would find evidence of other boulderers. This boulder always had chalk on it between '99 and about '01.

I have an extensive guide to what we knew had been climbed but just have never had the time to put it all on here. Jan 1, 2016
