Description

This is a very fun route with some face climbing and some great crack climbing. Getting into the crack is tough but the crux may lie above on the bolted stretch to the chains.
The name is a play on Brian Cabe's 'Lake Effect' at Cliff Lake and a nod to all the Uinta route developers that came before.

Location

This is the obvious crack line on the left side of the orange wall

Protection

3 bolts at the start and three bolts at the top and cams for the middle, Plenty o' hand jams.It is recommended that you place a cam in the horizontal between the second and third bolt. Single rack to #3 should suffice. Some may appreciate doubles Green to Gold. Chains

[Hide Comment] Excellent crack, somewhat of a rarity in the Uintas. Most people will definitely want to double up on hand-size pieces (2 & 3). The start is still pretty crunchy with a bunch of key holds feeling a bit hollow. Jul 17, 2017
