Description

An okay route that has some exhilarating steepness! There is an asterisks though - the route still has quite a bit of loose rock, especially near the top, and possibly (although I am not certain) the first few pockets on the initial overhang are drilled? The route is energetic and fun and if cleaned a bit more could be very popular!

Location

Begin on the loose-looking slab to the right of Choad Warrior.

Protection

Bolts.

[Hide Comment] Depending on whether this is the route with lots of epoxy/glue dripped all over the ground underneath, I know a bit about when and who this abortion was created by. Drilled pockets, permadraws, glued on flakes...some of Red Rock's finest climbing, no doubt. Jan 23, 2015

[Hide Comment] The glued choss before the drilled pockets appears to have broken off (looks like 3 flakes). Now there's just glue, but no holds. It still goes via a giant span, but definitely not 12b. At least 12+. Eye protection is highly recommended due to copious amounts of sand. This one will only "clean up" if the whole cliff collapses. [Hide Comment] Not as bad as you think... This route is an instant classic of the crag, yah.. maybe drilled and heavily reinforced. but makes for great climbing. Rather flowy climbing, with no more friable holds. I gave it a good cleaning, and will only stay clean if more people do it. Would recommend. Feb 4, 2022
