Description
One of at least two routes of this name in the Pegnitztal region (the other is at Krottenseer Turm), this climb is just as good as its more famous neighbor Katalysator. The climb is long but the cruxes are brief, on impeccable blue/gray limestone.
Begin up an easy, highly featured slab, passing a pair of old threads. Big holds lead up and over the first bulge to a horizontal break. Shake here, as the crux is just above. Climb over the steeper bulge, making long cranks between positive pockets to reach a dark, featured slab. Either veer hard right to reach an old ring anchor, or head left and join Katalysator to its pigtail anchor.
