Description

This route has amazing position and everything from face climbing to splitter cracks. Rap/ lower 160ft from bolts located in a small chimney on the west side of the Indian Head, to a bolted stance 30 ft above the river. Stem up the 40 ft corner then step right and follow cool face features to the crack system that will take you to the rim. Really enjoyable climbing on this one.

Location

Located on the West Face of the Indian Head. 15 ft climbers right of Pale Face

Protection

2 bolts, RP's to #2
Would be an R rated lead

[Hide Comment] Cheyenne is good lead with great pro. Lead it and it's most of a full rope. Anchors have updated. Aug 15, 2016

[Hide Comment] This is not an R rated lead. This route has recently had a flurry of new leads and is now one of the areas best. Apr 16, 2017

[Hide Comment] Top roped this the other day. Thought-provoking face climbing and stemming down low, a distinct crux (for me) at the beginning of the crack features near the middle of the climb, finish with about 50 feet of 5.9 or so crack climbing. I thought it was a great route! Jul 30, 2024
