Description

Go up a shallow chimney to a ledge, then up a short steep wall (there's an old piton here that you may have to dig out of the ice) to another ledge. Move up and right to the base of a the namesake ice hose. Up this, then up a slab to a tree with a fixed anchor.

Location

On the right side of the Crystal Ice Tower buttress, about 100' left of Parallel Gully, at a shallow left-leaning chimney.

Protection

Rock gear to 2", 3-4 screws.
