Description

A beautiful line you cant help but put your hands all over. When I first saw this thing, I knew I would be spending some time with Sheniqua.

Friction, Compression, and some foot work are key. Start with your left hand on a sloping side pull and your right hand on the arete.

The low start (Going Down On Sheniqua) is a much harder.

Location

This problem is on the closest side of the 420 boulder as you walk up.
Look for the clean right hand arete.

Protection

Crash pads. Most people stack em.

[Hide Comment] Is this area right above the scrambled egg boulder? Or is it down the road some? May 27, 2014

[Hide Comment] it is down the road a little ways. park by the roadcut and walk on the uphill side on a increasingly better trail to the top of the small crag. Mar 8, 2015

[Hide Comment] Stacking pads is very necessary to start this boulder will save you a lot of unnecessary frustration. Not sure why this isn't included in the description either here or the book I've seen no one send it without the pad stack. Mar 1, 2020

[Hide Comment] Maybe I just don't know my own strength but with a stacked pad this problem felt like V3 to me. Apr 24, 2024
