Description Suggest change

Horner's climbs the tall and distinct arete above the 10 ft crack. Climbing is mostly on ledges and crimps, with a couple of balancy mantle moves near the top.

Location Suggest change

This is route #1 in the 3rd edition of Swartling's guide, near the left end of the bluff, just left of a wide, shallow inside corner.

Protection Suggest change

There's gear near the bottom, but the top 15 or so feet is run out, and the ledges below could make for an unpleasant fall. Top anchor takes a pair of stoppers in perfectly constricted cracks and a horn asking to be slung.
