Details
Corpse Wall sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB during or after rain. A good rule of thumb is that if the ground near your climb is at all damp, then do not climb.
Description
Begin climbing below and five feet left of a small tree growing from a seam thirty feet above the base. Climb rounded edges and features to the first bolt, above and left of the tree. It is possible to sling the tree, but it as quite insubstantial. Move up and left to a horizontal that accepts small 0.5 to #2 Camalots. Pull into a shallow depression and the second bolt. Continue trending up and left on friction and small edges past three more bolts and the final steep headwall section and the anchor.
