Description
This route is next to #2 (Flying Delorean) in Climber's Guide to Devil's Lake at Birthday Rocks by Sven. Climb up either the smooth face or lieback crack at the left detached flake. Gain good horizontal ledges for a few balancy moves. From here move up to a solid horizontal crack and on to pinnacle feature using both aretes like a big bear hug. The name comes from a feature in the face that looks like the Flux Capacitor- it will make you charge up the aretes with 1.21 Jigawatts of power.
Location
25 Yards North of Birthday Crack
Protection
Medium sized stoppers and cams. Slightly run out after the flake in the beginning.
[Hide Photo] Follow the layback crack at left to a good horizontal and up the pinnacle. Great route.
