Description
There are many ways to go on this ridge and you may encounter sections of class 4 or even lower class 5 depending on your route finding skills.
Location
From Lake 11,160 on Darwin Benches head SW to the toe of the ridge. Pass several notches and false summits as you follow the ~1.2 mile ridge to the summit. The summit is just to the NW of the large glacier below Mendel and provides an excellent view of Ice 9.
Reverse the route or continue along the ridge to Mendel (5.6).
