Description

Start same as He She but after the 4th bolt move left to an open dihedral. The crux is a couple feet of blank rock in the dihedral which can be liebacked or stemmed. After that move left around the arete and continue to the anchor. 2 single rope rappels will get you down.

Protection

14 bolts, 2 bolt anchor.

[Hide Comment] You definitely need an 80 meter rope or two single to rap. A 70 does not make it... Tricky crux. I stayed in the crack and fell before realizing that I needed to reach out left! Aug 14, 2013

[Hide Comment] We managed with a single 70m rope, but we may have been using the anchor intended for Anything Goes, which is a few feet lower. Even so, it was a rope stretcher so Paisley's warning is definitely warranted. May 31, 2016

[Hide Comment] Manageable to TR with a 70m barely (tie stopper knots). Belay on ledge up and right of start. Have the follower clip the 3rd or 4th bolt to the belayers side of rope as they climb past it. When they get to anchor attach to belayers side of rope with quickdraw to use that rope as a directional. Clean the quickdraw on 4th bolt while lowering then continue down to ledge. Worth it. [Hide Comment] New route which stays right instead of popping out around arete feels about .10d and is equally good. Jun 20, 2024
