The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Start on the left side of the formation at a vertical crack. Climb to the top of the crack and a bolt. Continue up the face past more bolts to the top.
This route was originally led with the one bolt at the top of the crack, making the route R/X. Additional bolts were added later without the first ascent party's permission.
