Description Suggest change

A must-do, IF you can find it in condition.  This route faces SW and is somewhat tucked into a cleft that kinda protects the ice dribble and hopefully the full sheet that can form under optimal conditions.  A nice long pitch of steep ice with a few tiny mid route rests brings you to the top.  A cordless V thread is ideal as the trees are set back from the cliff edge.

Location Suggest change

The route can be found a bit up the Coal Creek Rd on the right (east) as the canyon narrows up.  Coal Creek Rd is opposite the village of Redstone, at the west end of the kilns.

Protection Suggest change

Screws and a thread tool. Please don’t leave cord, as it is trash in the ice.
