Description
A short but fun and beautiful hike the other side of the lake from Shepherds Crag. From Keswick drive to the bottom of Catbells.(15mins). Stagger upwards (about 1500',1 to 1 1/2 miles.) to the summit.Note ;-BE CAREFUL .... This climb ,possibly the most popular as such in Britain has claimed many more lives than the North Face of the Eiger.I do not believe many if any from falling ,most I hear were from heart attack by the none too fit and or the elderly!. Never the less we took on the challenge and did it >>>>>> Nice Views ,and there are about 1200 rock climbs close by.
