Black Rocks is in the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve redcliffsdesertreserve.com/. No climbing is allowed at Black Rocks from March 15 through June 30 in order to provide an undisturbed environment for Desert Tortoise en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gophe… mating.
In addition, all pets in the Reserve must be kept on a leash at all times.
Description
A steep, reasonably enjoyable start and crux with the most difficult part occurring around the second bolt. A bit of side-pulling and body positioning make the start a bit of fun. The angle then eases and it's fairly straightforward pockets to the top.
