Steep face moves to a 10 foot finger to thin hand crack, face holds lead to top.
Admin's NOTE on Name - While I agree that the name "Adair by the Sea" has a flair above the simpler "A Dare by the Sea" the current guidebook uses the "Dare" name and to be consistent that's what I think it should be called. THAT being said, I don't have a copy of the "original" Butterfield guide...what name is used therein? R Hall Admin, Maine
