Description
Located on the west face of the boulder, just left of center and identifiable as face leading into a shallow right-facing corner; there is a large rock and a bush near the base of the problem as well.
The crux moves on this are low as you work off a sharp crimp onto a small edge for your foot, but a bit higher, at the start of the corner, is the mental crux as you must commit to a high foothold to reach the temptingly close jugs in the corner. Easy moves lead up the corner to the top and there's an easy descent to the right.
Fun moves on good rock but you really don't want to fall off this once you're past the crux.
Named for it's slight resemblance to The Ayatollah (5.11b/c) at nearby Cap Rock.
