Description
This is one of Munising's most popular ice climbing areas. A great place to learn how to lead vertical ice or an easy place to set up a top rope.
Mostly tree shaded area, later in evening sun will appear over top of the climb and will give back lighting on the wall until sundown.
This area can be populated by its ease of climbing and occasionally numerous routes available, especially during the Ice Fest where it is used for clinics.
Beautiful sunset viewing area as well as bay and islands near the Munising area.

Location
This climb is the most popular and will usually have a trail broken in from Sand Point Road. Park in the parking lot by the beach/boat ramp and walk back to the trail where you can see the climb from the road, 15-20 minutes.
Looking up the hill on the east side of the road, the Curtains are usually visible deep in the trees. Not far from the road, but hike in is up a rather steep hill. Maybe 100 yards from roadway.
The Curtains: 46.439808°, -86.608231°
Curtains approach: 46.440310°, -86.608920°
