Description

Do a boulder problem start on incut plates over a bulge and onto a vertical face with abundant edges. Higher, fun climbing leads up the face to a high-step move on plates and a balancy lieback move up and right to the anchors.

Super fun climbing with great protection make this a highly recommended route of the area.

Location

Located between Lost Highway and Lunar Eclipse, this route climbs the left side of an attractive plated face.

Protection

6 bolts, chains with Mussy hooks

[Hide Comment] This climb is soooo much fun! The start yields a puzzle that will be solved according to your height, reach and particular technical strengths. Then lots of vertical movement above the overhanging area with great moves up high! Jun 21, 2008

[Hide Comment] I loosely remembered a bouldery start on this route but had completely forgotten how good it is. This is a goodie, try it! May 2, 2015

[Hide Comment] Once you're past the bouldery start it's great edge/patina climbing with fun movement. Really fun! May 28, 2016

[Hide Comment] I did it on top rope since I wasn't feeling up to leading it and was damn impressed about the difficulty of this route. I lead coyotes in the hen house (5.10d) on claim jumper the week prior and I think this route is harder than that one is. Fantastic climb Jul 22, 2016

[Hide Comment] Such a nice climb! The physical crux is the first bolt, but for shorter climbers the last move before the anchor is the mental crux. Thankful to the last bolt. May 18, 2020
