Second to last pitch, slightly sketchy rock at start, dihedral requires that you place good gear at start and punch it for a few moves...

Here is a quick, best recollection of the Coyote Tower route. Better than anything we could find before we attempted the route. Have Fun!

The rap anchor at the top of Pitch 3. You can leave your second rope here as you can rappel Pitches 4-6 with a single 60.

view of approach. hike on the trail past the tower (all the way to a slick rock wash) until the vegetated ramp comes into view. This leads you to the perch on the far left where the route starts.

The 180' rappel from the top of Pitch 3, which goes to the top of Pitch 1. You could probably also rap the route.

Looking at the pitch of climbing to the top of Courthouse Butte, if you make the jump across at the top of Coyote Tower.

Tucker Tech on pitch one..a bit heads up.

Pitch 5.

approaching Coyote Tower on Courthouse Butte. Route ascends close to right skyline finishing just shy of butte top. After passing tower on right go to edge of Butte on main tourist trail and then angle back left up slabs diagonally to start up and left a few hundred feet up the cliff wall

Coyote Tower

The summit is a very contemplative place.

Pitch 3 climbs behind the tower and then to the top of it.

My favorite pitch....

One of the best sandstone desert towers anywhere. Awesome climb. Mega-fantastic!
