The trailhead of the Carter Ledge Trail is actually INSIDE the White Ledge Campground next to one of the many camping sites. Turn left as soon as you cross the gate and go to the end of the paved road.

If choosing to rap in from the top, note the slab is not directly visible in summer time from the Carter Ledge Trail which keeps going further.

I made a great day climbing Carter Ledge and then heading up to to these amazing cracks on chacorua!

We started the bushwack before Carter Ledge trail became very steep. The vegetation was not too thick, but it was a bit inclined further in, maybe someone knows a better starting point?)
