I took this photo looking right (i.e. SSE) from the trail connecting the arrival of the cable car and Rifugio Rosetta (Pedrotti). Cima Roda is the first shorter and elongated peak in front of the majestic Pala di San Martino.

Pitch 4: continue first on the scenic easy arete on the right, then on the gully aiming at the very visible higher arete on the left (pitch 5) leading to the crux chimney (pitch 6) and then the sustained face (pitch 7) also barely visible

Half way through pitch 3, i.e. when reaching the arete after the chimney, one starts to see the majestic Pala di San Martino looking climber-right on the other side (South-East) of the arete.

Pitch 2 top: looking climber-right from the belay one can see the continuation of the large belay ledge and the pinnacles on the arete, and the big Pala di San Martino much further back on the left

Climber just made the first exposed move on the right from the belay alcove at the start of pitch 9

Pitch 1 top: belay at the large spike with a long cordolette

Pitch 1: looking right from the start one can see the big arete: climb the entire pitch 1 stay left of that arete... and then traverse toward it in pitch 2.

Pitch 2 : right after a very short vertical start one can see the easier horizontal traverse to the pinnacles ledge on the arete.

Pitch 5 top: belay at 2 glued-in rings on an alcove at the bottom of the crux chimney of pitch 6

not a bad way to rehydrate and recover some energies at Rifugio Rosetta, after a climb on Cima Roda (disclaimer: I do not work for the rifugio nor do I have any financial interests in their business)

Pitch 1 starts on top of the slanted gravel terrain, i.e. where the wall gets more vertical. The rope starts actually lower for the 5.0 I scramble up the gravel from the traversing ledge trail. On the far right: one of the pinnacles on the arete.
