Looking west, on the long scenic hike back. Sometimes, it's fun to go the long way.

A view of the remaining route from the top of the 3rd class chute. One can proceed further east (frame right) and ascend the talus-covered northern slope, or head south here up the exciting 4th class terrain to the summit plateau. Ideally, follow yellow. If there's ice, like there was when we were there, follow red for a low 5th class variation. I guesstimate this climb to be about 400 feet.

Moving across the second class traverse after The Notch in May 2021. Not as steep as it looks. A little scrambly but an excellent alternative if you don't want to take up rope for the third class section.
