"Photo A" - looking up from Upper 2-Med. Lake at the "South Face" of the ridge whose northwestern end (to the right) is Pumpelly Pillar.
I believe this is looking at the "South Face" of the ridge whose northwestern end is Pumpelly Pillar. If so, this ridge lies directly south of Upper 2-Med Lake.

I believe these pinnacles are at the end of "Rising Bull Ridge" which lies directly south of Upper 2-Medicine Lake. The photo was taken from the Upper 2-Med Lake Trail looking southwest from a point probably half way between Twin Falls and the Upper lake.
