The traditional top-out offers fun, moderate slab on perfect 186 million year old granite.<br>
<br>

The approach. Follow the green line. The junction where you split right up the final approach wash is hard to find so just be diligent. If you find yourself scrambling up sketchy 4th class+ climbing, you are likely in the wash to the left and need to move further right. We made this mistake and found ourselves at the base of a 30 ft dried up waterfall.

Nothing but air below on the 3rd pitch.

This is The Wasteland as it appears from about halfway up the last drainage. The route begins behind the trees on the left side, just left of the right-leaning crack

First rap bolts on summit. Five single-rope rappels plus scrambling get you down.

We were climbing in 2 groups. This is Bill coming up the 3rd pitch with about 400 feet of air under him.
