dec 18. 2005 climb and ski of skillet with mason cassidy, ward blanch and greg von doersten and myself we all froze our asses off. looks like pow but it was too cold, the snow rotten and fairly terrible skiing conditions
Dec 18,. 2005 we brought no avie gear, no ice tool or crampons. The next day with the my big toe swollen from blood underneath the nail, once I drained it, I was able to wiggle out my big toenail with ease. It was one of the more nuts things ever.

December 18th, 2005 on an early season mission to climb and ski the Skillet on Mt Moran. Temps were -25 Fahrenheit at this point and this was the coldest day in the mountains I ever had with no inversion. Myself, Ward Blanch, Mason Cassidy and GVD
Up the meadow, over the moraine and alpine glacier, up the couloir.

Dec 18, 2005 very cold climb and ski of the Skillet with Mason Cassidy, Ward Blanch and Greg Von Doersten. They summited. I did not about 300 feet from the summit for fear I was freezing my feet badly. We brought no avie gear, no ice tool or crampons
On the way home solo ski 14 hours.
