Why you brought the #4

Placing my #4 before pulling the crux on pitch 5. That mini pillow you see hanging off my ass is my jacket with an extra pair of leggings zipped inside. Of course I didn't need it but if I hadn't lugged it along I surely would have brought the wrath of the weather gods down on us... Novembrrr 2007

At the bulge where the "evil slot chimney" rears its slotty head above me on p5. Novembrrr 2007

S. Giffin stems up the wide section on pitch 5. Airy and exposed, but good holds and fun climbing.

My son Lennon and I. I believe this was the last pitch.

Halfway up the gorgous 5.5 chimney. So fun and so cruiser. Wish it lasted for 800ft.

This ledge off to the right is the home of the intermediate rappel anchor.
