October Sundae - the dotted line (which I have done) is where the NEClimbs.com photo showed the route going. It actually climbs through a "notch" in the OH as shown with the solid yellow line and as described in the text.

The "Main Rap Line" is shown, along with rap lines into it from the top of the slab (see also "Upper Rap Line Photo" for more detail)

Climbers just finished p2. Topo is showing the Direct route on the left (via bolt) and the more traditional way on the right, to next belay location (gear anchor).

RH on P1 of Oct Sundae; he's over the crux. (There's now a bolt above the single cam shown in this photo.)

October Sundae Direct - Traverse left under the overhang, passing a bolt and surmount the overhang on the left end.

Looking up at the "Notch" of October Sundae from a gear belay 30-40 ft below the OH. Hard to believe it "goes" at only 5.3 -5.4 !

The "beautiful crack" at start of P4 (Have your green (#0.75) Camalot ready) Leader is at the (first) bolted belay.

RW on P2

Super-Telephoto of "the Beautiful Crack" at the start of P4. "Don't leave home" without climbing it.

RW on P5 After the initial move off the tree ledge it was "So easy that it would make 'Dead Easy' (a 4-star 5.1 on Rainbow) seem hard!"

Looking up at the top of P6 and P7 (as described.) Note white rock and "BB" for top anchors...but you don't see them. (Note: we didn't split the pitch into two)

Dbl bolts under OH. Scramble (Cl4?) up to them from tree ledge.

Looking left towards the end of P2 and start of P3.

The "Once Upon-a-Time" Rap Tree below the large OH! It fell over 8/19/16 when I used its rounded trunk as a seat, well below the level of the slings. Probably less than 50 lbs force.

This rappel anchor has been added just below the fallen birch for the second to last rappel - June 2018 be careful of loose rock in the "woods"

Fourth rappel used to go through the trees. Rap tree is no longer around since Aug 19, 2016. See note on route desccription. (a new rap station has been established here since)
