Third rap from top. Pitch 7. This is a NEW 70m rope. It's just shy of the anchor. Under body weight, (150lbs) was able to reach the high hanger on the anchor with my PAS. Tricky to get out of the rope. Trickier still to put knots back in for the follower.

The approach

Pitch 9 - Good fun when the rock changes to that red varnish. Plus you finally get to an actual ledge at the very top!

Pick the right day and the route won't be crowded.

Crimson Chrysalis (5.8+)

Just say no to crack, especially if it's wide. Jared Coburn cuts right on the first pitch.

This is how much rope we had left after rappelling the 1st pitch (70m rope). 7th pitch also came close to the ends.

The "nice ledge" atop pitch 4 mentioned in the super topo is not so nice for 8 people. There are two people that are out of frame.
